Join Jill Sowards of Violetear Studio to learn everything about Dahlias -- one of the most beautiful, generous flowers of summer.  Jill will share key tips to give you bountiful blooms throughout the growing season.  The course will cover seasonal care including planting, feeding, deadheading, mulching, heat waves and reviving struggling plants.  Jill will also share sustainable pest and disease management, including companion planting recommendations.  The class will finish with a demonstration on how to cut and condition your flowers for arranging, dividing and storing tubers, and how to collect seeds to create new varietals in your own garden.
